Signed Book Release

The acclaimed Human Canvas series reveals a staggering approach to intrinsic imagery, vibrancy, and the beauty of humanity depicted through art. This gorgeous book uncovers the voice of a man who sought to capture beauty through light; since luminescence is in fact, true artistic beauty. Together, the narrative and imagery harmonize as one to capture your attention from page to page.

“What strikes me the most about this project is the amount of life and spirit it contains.” There is not just one voice, but many,” said Ola Olczak, a member of The Photographer’s Gallery of London, England. Upon the release of the Human Canvas, everyone’s world had been turned upside down and left suffering from a global pandemic. In doing so, Wesley eagerly published his artistic message of radiance and beauty to a disheveled world. Olczak further remarked, “I found a time to slow down, something this pandemic has forced most of us to do - so that I could fully clear my mind and delve into the world inside these pages, which have brought such colour and contemplation that I momentarily forgot I am living in quite dark times.”

The hardcover artist book was delicately constructed using a textured linen fabric that encases each panel and finely wrapped corners. Centered on the front cover, find the striking semi-gloss print of the “Klimt Inspired I” piece that elegantly lies debossed into the fabric.

In their series, Wesley Channell and body-painter, Alexis Logwood emulate and redefine artworks from famous 20th-century artists such as Kandinsky, Picasso, Dali, and more. Bound in 2019 by the team at 21st Editions, an award winning publishing company, the Human Canvas book consists of 58 images that blend the artistic mediums and talents from the collaborators.

This month only, Channell Art Collective is allowing the community an opportunity to receive a signed copy of the highly acclaimed Human Canvas artist book. Priced at only 10 additional dollars, each collector will secure a copy with a personalized note from the author and artists.
